Lactalis US Yogurt, part of the Lactalis family of companies, is currently hiring 2 Sr. Analysts, Trade Management - Food Service based in Londonderry, NH. Please note that relocation assistance is not offered for this role.
The Sr. Analyst, Tade Management - Food Service will be responsible for processing and resolving trade claims, deductions, and accounts receivable issues for assigned food service customers, distributors, and operator accounts. This role will partner closely with Sales, Food Service account teams, brokers, Customer Service, Supply Chain, and Finance to ensure accurate pricing, contract compliance, deduction validation, accrual support, financial reconciliations, and timely collection of invalid claims. The position will support customer contract maintenance, pricing controls, cash application, ACH processing, and business continuity for critical Accounts Receivable processes while managing increasingly complex customer portfolios. The Trade Management Analyst - Food Service will report to the Assistant Manager/Manager, AR/Trade.
From your EXPERTISE to ours
Key responsibilities for this position include:
  • Contribute to business improvement by educating and partnering with the sales team to help manage their financial requirements.?
  • Add value to our customers by providing a direct interface for all trade management and accounts receivable questions, issues, and problem resolution.
  • Ensure internal control and financial integrity over the trade management process by validating transactions are recorded consistently with internal policies and accounting rules.?
  • Investigate and resolve invoice , and deduction issues by coordinating with Sales, Customer Service, and Supply Chain.
  • Proactively prevent invoice disputes by identifying invoice price discrepancies and resolving them with Sales and Customers.
  • Collect customer invalid deductions.
  • Establish cross-functional relationships to respond to the needs of the business: resolution of customer issues, improved management of trade spending, improved collections.
  • Partner with Food Service Sales and broker teams to support customer-specific pricing, deviated pricing agreements, rebates, and promotional programs.
  • Process accurate and timely application of cash receipts in accordance with established guidelines.
  • Run Open Aging to review/resolve/track open short-pays and deductions for assigned group of customer accounts
  • Review and validate deductions related to distributor billbacks, customer rebates, off-invoice allowances, promotional activity, freight claims, and pricing discrepancies.
  • Support contract and program compliance for food service operators, chain accounts, distributors, and group purchasing organizations (GPOs), where applicable.
  • Validate / Invalidate Customer Deductions, ensuring accuracy of promotion contracts and promotion claims as a result of clearing Valids and identifying Invalids for Collection/Repay.
  • Manage transactions in third Party Deduction Management System to ensure timely and accurate deduction clearing
  • Validate Non-Trade Deductions and resolve timely - Process Credits/Rebills (Billing Complaints).
  • Complete daily/weekly/monthly to-do / check List Completion for operational effectiveness.
  • Complete Month End Check List in accordance with month end procedures and requirements.
  • Process Payables weekly against Trade Deals in deduction management system and email remits to customers.
  • Manage personal and Team email inboxes timely and efficiently.
  • Manage portfolio for Customers with increased complexity in resolving outstanding issues professionally, succinctly and timely.
  • Work closely with Sales Planning and/or team manager to update contracts.

The following as needed and assigned:
  • Process Contract Changes in Go Simple.
  • Manage/Back Up Daily ACH Processing and Distribute to Team for Posting.
  • Post Misc. Cash: Inter-Company, Cream Payments, Foreign Wires, Royalty Payments.
  • Manage/Back Up Pricing Review/Release Process for accurate Invoicing and to avoid deductions.
  • Act as back bp for Payables Process (weekly Pay Run).
  • Act as back up for Go Simple I/F Files Reconciliation Process Daily.
  • Act as back bp for Clearing Document Reversal Process.
  • Perform AD Hoc duties as assigned.

Requirements

Qualified applicants will contribute the following:
Education
  • Bachelor's degree is preferred.
  • Majors in Business, Finance or related field is preferred.

Experience
  • 5+ years of accounts receivable, trade management and/or collection, and contract compliance experience is required.
  • Experience supporting food service, distribution, hospitality, restaurant, or broader food and beverage channels preferred.
  • Experience with distributor billbacks, deviated pricing, rebates, promotional claims, or food service customer agreements preferred.

Specific knowledge
  • Advanced Excel is required.
  • Prior Food Service Accounts Receivable and collection experience required.
  • Prior experience with Trade Management concepts and policies preferred.
  • Knowledge of food service distribution models, customer pricing structures, and promotional programs preferred.
  • Familiarity with food industry documentation, margin sensitivity, and customer service expectations is a plus
  • Understanding of control concepts, policies and trade accounting rules required.
  • SAP and Trade system experience is required
  • Knowledge of GoSimple is preferred.
