About the Role

As a Financial Crime Operational MI & Analytics Specialist, you'll help drive data-led decision making across Financial Crime Operations. Reporting to the Business Performance Manager, you'll develop and deliver high-quality MI, dashboards and analytical insight that support operational performance, client reporting and risk management.

Using SQL, Power BI and Excel, you'll transform complex data into meaningful insight, identifying trends, risks and opportunities to improve customer outcomes and operational effectiveness. You'll support forecasting, resource planning and performance management, while helping to automate reporting, improve data quality and strengthen reporting governance.

Working across Financial Crime, Risk, Technology and Data teams, you'll play a key role in enhancing analytics capability and delivering scalable, efficient reporting solutions that influence decision-making at all levels of the organisation.

About You

You'll be an experienced MI, Data or Analytics professional with strong SQL skills and experience working with large datasets in a regulated environment. You'll have a proven ability to develop automated dashboards, reporting and analytical solutions using tools such as Power BI and Excel, with Python experience being desirable.

You have a strong analytical mindset, can turn complex information into clear and actionable insight, and are comfortable identifying trends, forecasting performance and supporting strategic decisions.

You'll also bring excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to present insights confidently to both technical and non-technical audiences. Experience within Financial Crime, Fraud, AML, Risk or Financial Services would be advantageous.
