The Job:

As a Sr. Financial Analyst, Lowes, you'll be part of our Retail Tools & Outdoor team working as a remote/hybrid employee. You'll get to:

• Be responsible for delivering financial analysis, reporting, forecasting support, and decision support to help drive growth and profitability.
• Collaborate closely with cross-functional partners to provide insights into business performance, identify risks and opportunities, and support execution of commercial and financial objectives.
• Serve as a finance business partner for the Lowes commercial account team.
• Support monthly financial close processes for the Lowes commercial business, ensuring timely and accurate reporting of financial results and variances.
• Develop, analyze, and report financial results, quarterly forecasts, and annual operating plan inputs to support business planning and decision-making.
• Oversee controls for trade spending processes including proactive monitoring of forecasted accruals and planned promotional spending.
• Provide actionable insights on sales performance, margin trends, and profitability drivers.
• Partner with sales and operations teams to evaluate promotional activities, pricing strategies, and new business opportunities.
• Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs), identify trends, and highlight risks and opportunities to support corrective actions as needed.
• Support contract analysis, rebate calculations, and compliance with financial policies and processes.
• Contribute to process improvement initiatives that enhance financial reporting, forecasting, and analytics.
• Maintain strong working relationships with internal stakeholders and support interactions with Lowes counterparts, as needed.
• Perform ad hoc financial analysis and reporting as necessary.

The Person:

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, or related field required.
• 3+ years of relevant experience in finance, accounting, or business analysis, preferably within a Corporate Finance, FP&A, or Commercial Finance environment.
• Strong understanding of financial reporting, budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis processes.
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills, effective oral and written communication, strong interpersonal skills, and the ability to work cross-functionally to develop data-driven recommendations.
• Demonstrated financial systems acumen, with the ability to use financial tools and systems to support accurate reporting, analysis, and informed decision-making.
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and financial modeling; experience with Power BI, Hyperion HFM, SAP, or equivalent systems is preferred.
