Job description

We are looking for a Financial Analyst to support data-driven decision-making for a non-profit organization in Westbury, New York. This role focuses on evaluating rate performance, monitoring profitability, and translating financial data into clear business insights. The ideal candidate will be comfortable working across budgeting, variance review, and custom reporting while using analytical tools to identify trends and support operational planning.
Responsibilities:
• Evaluate DR-related rates and profitability trends to identify drivers of financial performance and recommend actionable improvements.
• Track utilization patterns connected to DR activity and translate findings into meaningful operational and financial insights.
• Support the annual budgeting process by preparing forecasts, analyzing assumptions, and maintaining financial planning models.
• Compare actual results against budgeted figures, investigate variances, and present clear explanations to stakeholders.
• Develop ad hoc financial analyses to address emerging business questions and support leadership decision-making.
