Networks Connect is conducting a search on behalf of our client, a fast growing commercial construction firm specializing in building automation, MEP, and telecom projects. This Project Manager opportunity is ideal for a seasoned construction PM ready to take full ownership of complex, high-profile builds from the ground up.


In this role, you will own the entire project lifecycle for MEP and telecom construction projects based Jackson, MS โ€” from preconstruction through commissioning and closeout. You'll lead a field team of 15+ tradespeople and technicians, and serve as the central point of accountability across subcontractors, vendors, and client stakeholders. This is a hands-on leadership seat for someone who leads from the front and holds a high bar for quality, schedule, and budget performance.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Own the full project lifecycle from preconstruction through commissioning and closeout
  • Lead and develop a field team of 15+ tradespeople and technicians
  • Drive project flow to keep timelines, budgets, and quality standards on track
  • Coordinate subcontractors, vendors, and internal stakeholders to maintain seamless operations
  • Monitor project budgets, track costs, and maintain financial accountability throughout each phase
  • Leverage Procore to manage documentation, scheduling, reporting, and project communication
  • Deliver clear, consistent project updates to leadership and clients
  • Anticipate and proactively resolve project risks, conflicts, and delays before they escalate


Qualifications:

  • Proven experience managing electrical, telecommunications, or fiber optics construction projects
  • Strong background in mechanical, electrical, and plumbing (MEP) construction
  • Demonstrated ability to lead large field teams and hold people accountable in a fast-moving environment
  • Proficiency in Procore and other project management tools
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to manage expectations at all levels
  • Highly organized with sharp attention to detail and the ability to juggle multiple priorities
  • Located in or able to relocate to Phoenix, AZ or El Paso, TX
