Job description

FINANCIAL ANALYST
The Financial Analyst is responsible for reporting the company's financial performance. They will support operations team and leadership to provide analysis and reporting that is timely and accurate.
Primary Goals and Responsibilities
  • Prepares detailed P&L statements for multiple customer operation sites including monthly and YTD variance analysis comparison to plan/budget.
  • Reviews monthly costs, prepares accruals and reconciles quarterly / year end for all customer sites.
  • Reviews monthly labor costs in detail including proper classifications to support job costing.
  • Review and reconcile quotes/purchase orders with actual costs to assist with margin improvement.
  • Prepare quarterly forecasts (GMRs) for each customer site and reviews with leadership.
  • Prepares annual budget for each respective site and reviews with leadership.
  • Actively participates in site reviews with the operations team.
  • Support identification of risks and opportunities as it relates to their respective P&Ls.
  • Manages AR invoice process and ensures proper revenue recognition.
  • Supports material accounts payable process as it relates to their respective operation sites.
  • Manages subcontractor accounts payable process as it relates to their respective operation sites.
  • Perform analytical reviews, validations and audits as needed to support operations.
  • Initiate and participate in process improvement initiatives on a team or individual basis.
  • Proactively apply problem solving techniques in supporting team requirements.
  • Effectively collaborate with Finance / Operations colleagues.
  • Support adherence to corporate policies and procedures.
  • Support Finance Leadership and DFM leadership.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Role Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in accounting, Finance, Economics, or related field.
  • Experience in a manufacturing or service environment strongly preferred
  • 3-5 years of relevant experience
  • Detail oriented with excellent organizational and communication (written and oral) skills
  • Demonstrated ability to prioritize multiple responsibilities and work with minimal supervision
  • Strong analytical skills and business acumen
  • Proven track record of preparing accurate projections and solid financial recommendations
  • Strong computer skills and proficiency with Excel and other software/applications
  • Ability to use advanced financial reporting systems to obtain data needed to perform complex analyses and make recommendations
  • Maintenance of the confidentiality of any personal or company information encountered
