Job description

Koch Engineered Solutions (KES) is seeking a Global Financial Analyst to join our Business Finance team in Wichita, KS or Tulsa, OK. This role will focus on a business unit within our Equipment, Technology, and Services (ET&S) businesses, partnering across our Integrated Business Teams (IBTs) and supporting capabilities to create performance visibility and improve decision-making.

This role is well-suited for someone who is self-directed, organized, collaborative, and detail-oriented, with the ability to improve ways of working in a fast-changing environment.

What You Will Do
  • Support the monthly FP&A cycle, including coordination of the monthly forecast refresh and reporting key business insights such as resource utilization analysis, SG&A, capital, and working capital metrics.
  • Execute and continuously improve key global financial reporting and planning processes used by our Integrated Business Teams (IBTs), operating across multiple time zones.
  • Work with incomplete or inconsistent data, performing handsโ€‘on data wrangling, validation, and reconciliation as needed.
  • Support adโ€‘hoc, dataโ€‘driven analysis and materials for both business reviews and management presentations.
  • Develop financial analyses, business scenarios, and models to evaluate alternatives and support effective decisionโ€‘making.
  • Provide clear, insightful commentary on financial and operational results, explaining outcomes and highlighting relevant opportunities and risks to management.
  • Collaborate with global shared functions (such as Data & Analytics, Engineering, Operations, HR, Accounting) to source information, validate assumptions, and improve the quality and consistency of financial reporting and analysis.
  • Apply AI tools in daily work โ€” including drafting, synthesis, modeling, variance analysis, and communication โ€” while using business knowledge to improve ways of working.
  • Communicate effectively across cultures and time zones as part of a global business.
  • Identify improvement opportunities and propose solutions that increase value.
Who You Are (Basic Qualifications)
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite or Office 365, including advanced Excel skills and data management.
  • Experience challenging the status quo and transforming work processes.
  • A selfโ€‘directed mindset with the motivation to question existing processes and reporting, identify gaps, and propose better ways of working.
  • Experience explaining complex results clearly and concisely using strong written and verbal communication skills.
What Will Put You Ahead
  • Experience in business analysis, finance, accounting, commercial development, or business strategy.
  • Experience working with data management and visualization tools.
  • Experience in a midโ€‘toโ€‘large manufacturing organization.
  • Experience interpreting complex financial data and drawing meaningful conclusions .
  • Experience in framing and modeling complex economic problems.
  • Ability to manage large volumes of data from multiple systems and use advanced tools and develop a point of view.
