Summary

The Team Leader plays a key role in supporting daily operations while guiding and developing fellow team members. This position is responsible for assisting with training, promoting a safe and efficient work environment, and leading by example. The role includes hands-on involvement in core functions such as forklift and other machinery operation, inventory management, receiving, and shipping, ensuring all goods are handled accurately, safely, and in a timely manner to meet customer expectations.

What You'll Do

  • Coordinates and leads daily team operations to ensure efficiency and productivity.
  • Unpack, repack, and properly store materials and products.
  • Verify incoming and outgoing shipments using tools and visual aids to ensure accuracy.
  • Operate warehouse equipment, including forklifts and/or cranes, for loading and unloading.
  • Utilize production tools and systems, such as scan guns, to support workflow processes.
  • Inspect product prior to shipment to ensure quality standards are met.
  • Maintain a clean, organized workspace in accordance with 5S standards.
  • Check daily 5S assignments to ensure completion and accuracy.
  • Accurately enter production and inventory data into basic spreadsheet systems.
  • Follow all established procedures, policies, and safety guidelines to promote a safe work environment.
  • Maintain accurate documentation for incoming and outgoing materials.
  • Responsible for maintaining paperwork of incoming and outgoing products.
  • Participates in team meetings, training sessions, and continuous improvement efforts.
  • Cultivate a positive, productive work environment through Positive Employee Relations.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned.

What You Need

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, including Word and Excel, as well as other database systems as required.
  • Ability to read and understand basic instructions, short correspondence, and internal communications.
  • Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure. To include the ability to create and interpret graphs.
  • Strong Verbal communication skills, with the ability to effectively share information in on-on-one and small group settings with customers, clients, and team members.
  • Basic math skills, including the ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide across standard units of measure.
  • Ability to create, interpret, and analyze basic charts and graphs.
