Job Summary:
A Senior Finance Manager is a Corporate Staff Team Leader who is a player-coach for the core financial roles within the company including, but not limited to Accounts Receivable, Accounts Payable, Budgeting, Cost Accounting, Banking, Bookkeeping, Taxes, Inventory Material Requirements Planning, and Special Pricing Analysis. Additionally, the Senior Finance Manager will work closely with the Chief Financial Officer to conduct analyses, develop financial strategies and work with all teams to implement those strategies and identify opportunities for pricing stability, waste elimination, cost reductions, and continuous improvement in Quality, Delivery, Cost and Value for both internal and external customers.
Responsibilities:
  • Assure compliance with government regulations, reporting, and generally accepted accounting practices in the financial and accounting process of the corporate headquarters and its divisions.
  • Develop the company's compliance with financial regulations
  • Evaluate financial risks and develop and implement mitigation plans
  • Investigate and analyze economic and industrial trends for potential financial impacts
  • Develop and evaluate financial forecasts to guide spending and improve cash flow
  • Analyze operations, develop plans, and implement strategies to eliminate waste, reduce costs and improve efficiency
  • Function as the lean champion for the organization, eliminating waste
  • Develop and present finance metrics, KPIs and threat analyses to company leadership
  • Develop and present reports on costs, variances, and budgets
  • Engage in cross functional teams to align finance efforts with business objectives
  • Partner with the Procurement Team to do Material Requirements Planning (MRP)
  • Develop excellent working relationships with both internal and external customers and build long-term, collaborative relationships
  • Help document, streamline and automate finance processes
  • Develop and implement Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) software finance improvements
  • Represent the Corporate Staff Finance group on special project teams or task forces
  • Willing and able to step into AP, AR, Budgeting, Cost Accounting, Banking, Bookkeeping, & Taxes functions as needed

Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in accounting, business, finance, or related field, required
  • MBA or equivalent Master's degree preferred
  • Minimum of 10 years of finance experience required
  • Minimum of 3 years of supervisory experience required
  • Experience in lean or six sigma process improvement, highly preferred
  • Experience in an electronics or technical manufacturing industry, a plus
  • Experience in motion control industrial production management, a plus
