Job description

THE ROLE 

As our Sr. Financial Analyst, Inventory Control, you will champion end-to-end global inventory integrity and balance-sheet precision across Everpure's hardware operations. Partnering directly with Supply Chain, Operations, Engineering, Procurement, and global contract manufacturers, you will bridge physical inventory dynamics and bill-of-materials (BOM) changes with critical financial outcomes. In this high-visibility role, you will drive proactive risk identification for excess and obsolete inventory, streamline month-end close cadences, and directly protect gross margins while supporting seamless product transitions from launch to end-of-life.

WHAT YOU'LL DO

  • Global Inventory Reconciliations & Close Management: Own end-to-end inventory reconciliations across global contract manufacturing locations to ensure financial integrity, resolve transactional breaks, and deliver accurate, reliable standard cost and variance forecast.
  • Product Lifecycle & BOM Exposure Mitigation: Partner with Engineering, Operations, and Procurement to analyze Bill of Materials (BOM) revisions, New Product Introductions (NPI), and End-of-Life (EOL) transitions, quantifying financial risks and minimizing excess and obsolete (E&O) inventory exposure.
  • Strategic Forecasting & Reserve Modeling: Build data-driven inventory and reserve models incorporating demand forecasts, supply commitments, and lead-time variables to increase forecast accuracy and optimize working capital efficiency.
  • Cross-Functional Commercial & Operational Alignment: Collaborate with Commodity Management and external manufacturing partners to evaluate purchase commitments, validate material substitutions, and align commercial terms that protect Everpure's margins.
  • Reporting: Standardize Inventory KPI reporting to improve inventory visibility and  

WHAT YOU BRING

  • Inventory & Cost Accounting Expertise: Core knowledge of inventory valuation, cost accounting principles, balance-sheet reconciliation, and transactional root-cause analysis within hardware or electronics manufacturing supply chains.
  • Financial Modeling & Systems Capability: Proficiency in advanced data analysis and financial modeling using Excel, alongside experience working with ERP, planning, and business intelligence systems to evaluate complex inventory datasets.
  • Cross-Functional Communication & Problem Solving: Analytical and storytelling skills with a track record of partnering across Finance, Operations, Engineering, and external vendors to drive alignment on critical financial decisions.
  • Location: We are primarily an in-office environment and therefore, you will be expected to work from the Santa Clara, CA office in compliance with Everpure's policies, unless you are on PTO, or work travel, or other approved leave.
