Role Overview
The FP&A Analyst is responsible for preparing sales reports, calculating commissions, supporting financial planning processes, and developing financial models to drive leadership decisions. Operating under FP&A leadership, this position executes the sales commission process across the enterprise. The role requires extreme attention to detail, the ability to work effectively under tight deadlines, and a consistent delivery of accurate, high-quality financial analyses.
Key Responsibilities
โ€ข Lead the monthly, quarterly, and annual sales reporting and commissions processes.
โ€ข Develop, track, and report on key performance indicators (KPIs).
โ€ข Support corporate consolidation, bank, and management reporting on a recurring basis.
โ€ข Produce recurring and ad-hoc financial analyses and models, including performance variances, pipeline tracking, customer metrics, project performance, operating expenses, cash flow, and audit support.
โ€ข Assist in driving the annual budget and rolling forecast processes, including tools training to business units.
โ€ข Drive continuous improvement, standardization, and automation within the budgeting and forecasting workflows.
โ€ข Support the implementation of new budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting tools.
โ€ข Support process improvement initiatives to achieve efficiencies in project billing, contract compliance, and indirect cost recovery.
โ€ข Provide financial analysis and integration support for mergers and acquisitions (M&A) in collaboration with the Finance and Corporate Development teams.
โ€ข Prepare and maintain process documentation, control narratives, and training materials.
โ€ข Maintain company and data confidentiality at all times.
โ€ข Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
โ€ข Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field
โ€ข Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite including expertise in Excel (e.g., formulas, pivot tables, tables, and graph production) and PowerPoint
โ€ข 2-3 years of Financial Analysis experience
โ€ข Strong analytical skills
โ€ข Must be able to multitask and meet deadlines
โ€ข Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team
โ€ข Excellent verbal and written communication skills
โ€ข Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
โ€ข Experience with Oracle NetSuite is a plus
