Job description

About This Role
We are seeking an experienced FP&A Consultant to support the Head of FP&A team at leading Investment Management organization during a critical period ahead of earnings season. This is a high-visibility, hands-on role requiring advanced financial analysis, modeling, and reporting skills.
Work Location: Up to 4-5 days on-site Midtown Manhattan, NY
Duration: 4-6 months
Pay Rate Range: $65/hr-$75/hr
What You Will Work On
  • Own and deliver high-quality financial analyses, models, and reporting in support of earnings preparation and executive presentations.
  • Manage corporate FP&A processes including close, forecasting, variance analysis, and reporting.
  • Connect financial data across multiple sources to identify and articulate business drivers and trends.
  • Provide leadership and guidance within the team while remaining a strong hands-on contributor.
  • Partner with cross-functional stakeholders to ensure timely and accurate deliverables during critical reporting periods.

What You Will Bring
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance or similar field (required)
  • Between 5-15 years in Corporate FP&A roles, with exposure to publicly traded or PE-backed organizations.
  • Prior experience supporting earnings preparation and external reporting cycles.
  • Advanced financial modeling and Excel proficiency.
  • Strong analytical mindset and ability to synthesize large data sets into actionable insights.
  • Executive presence and strong business judgment; comfortable presenting to senior stakeholders.
  • Strong PowerPoint capability for executive and Board-level decks.
  • Familiarity with Anaplan and Essbase, nice to have.
  • Experience in high-control, fast-paced environments.
