Financial Advisor

Location: Texarkana, TX
Schedule: Monday–Thursday, 8:00 AM–5:00 PM | Friday, 8:00 AM–3:00 PM
Salary: $75,000–$100,000/year (Based on Experience)

Express Employment Professionals is assisting a well-established financial services firm in Texarkana, TX, in their search for a Financial Advisor to join their team. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced advisor who enjoys building relationships, creating customized financial strategies, and helping clients achieve their long-term financial goals.

The ideal candidate will be a licensed advisor with 3+ years of experience who is looking to grow within a team environment. This person will initially assist an established advisor with an existing book of business while developing the skills, relationships, and client base needed to eventually build and manage their own book of business.

Responsibilities:
  • Gather client information and evaluate financial goals, priorities, and concerns to develop a deep understanding of each client’s unique needs.
  • Create and support personalized financial strategies designed to help clients achieve their short- and long-term objectives.
  • Meet regularly with clients to track progress toward goals, identify additional needs, and proactively address changing circumstances.
  • Build trusted relationships with clients and prospective clients through consistent communication and exceptional service.
  • Partner with clients’ professional teams, including attorneys, accountants, and trust professionals, to gain a complete understanding of their financial goals and circumstances.
  • Research portfolio performance, investment fees, asset allocation, and portfolio construction to provide informed recommendations.
  • Review investment strategies and make recommendations that align with client objectives and suitability requirements.
  • Assist in managing an existing book of business while actively developing and growing a personal client base over time.
Qualifications:
  • Active financial advisor license required.
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience as a Financial Advisor or in a similar investment advisory role.
  • Series 66 license required.
  • Series 7 license preferred but not required.
  • Strong knowledge of investment products, portfolio construction, and financial planning concepts.
  • Excellent communication, relationship-building, and client service skills.
  • Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with a team.
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to helping clients achieve their financial goals.
