Seeking a skilled Financial Advisor in Baltimore, MD
We are seeking an experienced, fully licensed Independent Financial Advisor to affiliate with our established Baltimore firm. In this role, you will build and manage your own client relationships while delivering comprehensive financial planning, investment advisory services, and insurance solutions-supported by our in‑house specialists, operational staff, and robust planning infrastructure.
This opportunity is ideal for business advisors who want true independence over their practice, branding, and schedule, while still benefiting from the stability, resources, and credibility of a long-standing organization.
Responsibilities
• Acquire, develop, and retain a book of individual and business clients through proactive business development, referrals, and networking.
• Provide holistic financial planning, including retirement planning, investment management, risk management/insurance, and estate conservation strategies.
• Analyze clients' financial situations, recommend appropriate investment and insurance solutions, and implement strategies aligned with a client‑first philosophy.
• Conduct ongoing portfolio and policy reviews, adjust strategies as clients' needs evolve, and maintain regular, high‑quality communication.
• Operate as an independent advisor within the TFG framework, leveraging firm resources, coaching, and technology to grow a sustainable practice.
Qualifications
• Active FINRA Series 7 and Series 66 registrations (or equivalent 63/65 combination).
• Active state Life and Health Insurance licenses for Maryland.
• Minimum 2-3 years of client‑facing experience as a financial advisor, planner, or financial professional in investments and/or insurance.
• Strong interpersonal, communication, and relationship‑building skills, with the ability to explain complex financial concepts in clear terms.
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent professional experience in financial services, wealth management, or a related field.
