With multiple locations nationwide and plans to expand into two more locations this year, my client is seeking a hands-on Accounting Manager to lead accounting operations and support the financial success of the organization.


Position Overview

The Accounting Manager will oversee daily accounting operations, lead the month-end close process, supervise accounting staff, and ensure the accuracy and integrity of financial reporting across multiple locations.

This role is ideal for an accounting professional who enjoys working in a fast-paced environment, leading teams, improving processes, and partnering closely with operations leaders.

Key Responsibilities



  • Manage general ledger, accounts payable, accounts receivable, fixed assets, and cash management functions
  • Lead monthly, quarterly, and annual close processes ensuring timely and accurate financial reporting
  • Prepare and review financial statements, account reconciliations, and management reporting packages
  • Oversee accounting activities across multiple dealership locations
  • Ensure accurate inventory accounting and reconciliation of inventory balances
  • Manage multi-state sales tax compliance and reporting
  • Develop and maintain internal controls, accounting policies, and procedures
  • Coordinate annual audits and collaborate with external auditors and tax advisors
  • Assist with budgeting, forecasting, cash flow analysis, and financial planning
  • Supervise, mentor, and develop accounting team members
  • Partner with operational, sales, and service leadership to improve financial performance
  • Drive process improvements, automation initiatives, and operational efficiencies

  • 3+ years of progressive accounting experience
  • Prior supervisory or management experience
  • Strong understanding of GAAP and financial reporting
