The Accounting & Finance Manager will oversee all financial operations and accounting functions of Eastbrook Academy. This includes managing budgeting, financial reporting, accounts payable/receivable, payroll processing, and ensuring compliance with financial regulations. The ideal candidate will provide strategic financial leadership to support the school's educational mission while maintaining rigorous stewardship of its resources.
Supervisory Responsibilities:
  • Oversee the daily workflow of the finance department.
  • Recruit, interview, hire and train new finance staff as needed.
  • Handle discipline and termination of employees in accordance with school policy.

Duties/Responsibilities:
  • Manage the school's general ledger, monthly closing process, and preparation of monthly financial statements.
  • Oversee tuition billing management, financial aid administration, and accounts receivable collections.
  • Direct the accounts payable process and ensure timely vendor disbursements and expense tracking.
  • Coordinate the preparation of the annual operating budget in collaboration with school leadership and the Board.
  • Manage payroll processing and benefit administration in coordination with Human Resources.
  • Lead the preparation for annual independent financial audits and ensure accurate filing of required tax forms.
  • Monitor cash flow forecasting and manage school bank accounts and investments.
  • Perform other related duties as assigned.
