Job description

We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Accounting Manager, reporting to the Controller/CFO to help manage core financial and human resource functions. This role is perfect for a professional who enjoys a mix of oversight and hands-on execution. You will be responsible for the full accounting cycle; from daily reconciliations and biweekly payroll to managing human resources functions and supervising key operational departments like accounts payable


Key Responsibilities


  • Financial Management & Reporting
  • Daily Cash Flow: Perform daily bank reconciliations and post all deposits to ensure real-time accuracy of our cash position.
  • Billing & Receivables: Oversee the monthly billing cycle and manage material payables, including the calculation and issuance of rebate checks to customers.
  • Operational Oversight: Provide leadership and oversight for accounts payable, collections, to ensure data integrity and process efficiency.

Payroll & Compliance



  • Full-Cycle Payroll: Process biweekly payroll with precision, ensuring all payroll tax deposits are made in a timely manner.
  • Tax Reporting: Prepare and file all quarterly and annual payroll reports, maintaining compliance with federal, state, and local regulations.
  • Audit Support: Maintain organized records to support year-end audits and internal financial reviews.


Human Resources & Administration

  • HR Management: Serve as the primary point of contact for HR responsibilities, including onboarding new hires, benefits administration, and maintaining employee files.
  • Policy Implementation: Assist in the development and enforcement of internal controls and company policies.


Required Qualifications

  • 5+ years of progressive accounting experience; prior experience in a senior or supervisory role is preferred. Bachelors degree in Accounting is a plus
