Finance

We are seeking an experienced Finance professional who will be responsible for providing financial planning, analysis, and strategic decision support across the firm, with a particular focus on Technology. This colleague will work closely with the CFO, executive leadership, and department leaders to drive budgeting, forecasting, investment evaluation, business case development, and value realization. The role will help ensure the firm's strategic investments are aligned with business objectives, appropriately governed, and delivering measurable outcomes. The successful candidate will have the opportunity to influence a broad range of business and investment decisions while developing deep expertise in technology finance and strategic resource allocation.

Key Responsibilities

  • Partner with business leaders across the firm to develop annual budgets, forecasts, and long-range plans.

  • Own the official financial budget and forecast for Technology, ensuring alignment with the approved budget, contracts and headcount plan.

  • Partner with Technology leadership to explain material variances, identify emerging budget pressures and assess tradeoffs.

  • Collaborate with Technology to improve cloud and AI spend operating discipline and transparency.

  • Establish and manage FP&A process discipline, including budget and forecast calendars, templates, input assumptions, controls, submission requirements, and consolidation of the Technology budget into the firmwide budget.

  • Develop financial models and scenario analyses to support executive decision-making, enterprise-wide planning, and major technology or strategic investment decisions.

  • Serve as the financial review and challenge function for significant investments, evaluating costs, benefits, risks, alternatives, and ROI.

  • Collaborate with Procurement to implement efficient cost-saving strategies, optimize vendor contracts, and negotiate favorable pricing agreements

  • Partner with Technology on executive, Board, and management materials related to strategic investments, performance, forecast changes, and approval or escalation needs.

  • Evaluate accounting, policy, and reporting treatment for technology and strategic investments in partnership with the Accounting team.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, Economics, or a related field; CPA, CFA, MBA, or relevant finance certification a plus.

  • 7+ years of progressive FP&A, corporate finance, investment analysis, or business finance experience, including experience supporting technology function.

  • Strong expertise in financial planning, forecasting, investment analysis, budgeting, and business performance management, including experience supporting technology and other strategic functions.

  • Experience with financial systems, FP&A platforms, and data analysis or visualization tools, such as Excel, Power BI, Tableau, ERP systems, Coupa, or Anaplan.

  • Familiarity with technology, cloud, infrastructure, data, AI, or other strategic investment areas is helpful.

  • Proven ability to develop financial models, ROI analyses, business cases, and scenario analyses to support strategic decision-making.

  • Ability to synthesize complex financial and operational information into clear insights, recommendations, and executive-level materials.

  • Excellent analytical, communication, stakeholder management, problem-solving, and organizational skills, with strong attention to detail.


The base salary range for this position is $90,000 - $240,000 per year.
