Our client, a leading AmLaw firm, is seeking a talented Associate Attorney to join its Restructuring & Special Situations Finance Practice Group.This is a compelling opportunity to work on complex domestic and cross-border restructuring matters, distressed financings, and special situations transactions within a sophisticated and fast-paced practice.

Candidate Profile
  • JD from a top-tier law school with an excellent academic record
  • Active Bar Admission in applicable jurisdiction, in good standing
  • 3โ€“7 years of substantive experience in restructuring, bankruptcy, and/or special situations finance transactions
  • Familiarity with Chapter 11 proceedings, out-of-court restructurings, and liability management transactions
  • Experience representing creditors, debtors, sponsors, or financial institutions in distressed scenarios
  • Strong drafting, analytical, and negotiation skills
  • Large law firm experience preferred
Key Responsibilities
  • Represent clients in complex restructuring and insolvency matters, both in-court and out-of-court
  • Advise creditors, debtors, and investors in distressed and special situations financings
  • Draft and negotiate credit agreements, restructuring support agreements, and related transaction documents
  • Support liability management transactions, recapitalizations, and distressed M&A opportunities
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including finance, corporate, and litigation attorneys
