Interns should be comfortable using spreadsheet software such as Microsoft Excel and may work with financial databases or enterprise resource planning (ERP) systems. Effective communication, eagerness to learn, and organizational skills help interns stand out in team-based and dynamic environments. Mastering these skills enables interns to accurately support financial analysis, work efficiently with colleagues, and gain meaningful hands-on experience in the finance sector.
