Summary Statement
Turn your love of skating into a rewarding first job! Join Boise Parks and Recreation as a Junior Ice Skating Instructor and help youth and adults build confidence and skills on the ice. You'll assist with fun, engaging lessons while helping create a safe, positive learning environment for skaters of all ages. If you're passionate about skating, enjoy working with people, and want to gain valuable leadership experience, this is a great opportunity to get started. This position is open to applicants 15 years of age and older.
Required Knowledge, Experience, And Training
Must be:
  • a member of U.S Figure Skating through a recognized figure skating club or as an individual.
  • complete Learn to Skate USA Instructor Certification within one month of date of hire.
  • must attend Junior Instructor orientation.
Licensing And Other Requirements
  • U.S. Figure Skating Membership
  • Learn to Skate USA Certified Instructor
Special Requirements
Applicants must be able to pass:
  • City of Boise background check processes which includes a criminal history check and reference checks in accordance with the City of Boise Hiring Process Regulation.
