Senior Finance Business Partner, Operations

Internal title: Functional Controller


Location: Weston, Florida


Work arrangement: Hybrid, with required in-office presence on Tuesdays and Thursdays. Additional in-person attendance may occasionally be required based on business needs.


Travel: Less than 10%


Employment type: Full-time, permanent


Base salary range: $93,150 to $124,200 annually


Role type: Individual contributor

What You Will Do

As Senior Finance Business Partner, Operations, you will analyze the operational and financial performance of assigned business functions, identify key performance drivers, and provide recommendations that improve business outcomes.

You will partner closely with operational and functional leaders to strengthen planning, reporting, cost management, financial awareness, and decision-making.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Own reporting and analysis of operational and financial performance, including volume, revenue, costs, operating expenses, and investments
  • Develop and improve management reports, financial models, and analytical methodologies that increase visibility and support decision-making
  • Partner with functional leaders on budgets, forecasts, strategic plans, target setting, and performance-improvement actions
  • Identify cost-control and optimization opportunities and support initiatives that improve financial and operational performance
  • Review major spend categories and prepare business cases, investment evaluations, and recommendations for Finance leadership
  • Translate complex financial and operational data into clear insights, risks, opportunities, and recommended actions
  • Collaborate with Finance, Operations, IT, and other cross-functional teams to strengthen data integrity, internal controls, and audit readiness
  • Improve standard operating procedures and support the automation and digitalization of reports and financial processes
  • Build financial awareness among non-finance stakeholders through coaching, collaboration, and clear communication

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, Engineering, Economics, or a related field
  • Seven or more years of progressive experience in FP&A, operational finance, financial controlling, or finance business partnering
  • Strong understanding of financial and management-accounting principles
  • Advanced Excel and financial-modeling capabilities
  • Experience with budgeting, forecasting, performance reporting, variance analysis, and cost management
  • Ability to translate complex financial and operational data into actionable business recommendations
  • Strong business acumen, analytical judgment, and problem-solving capabilities
  • Excellent communication, presentation, stakeholder-management, and influencing skills
  • Ability to work from the Weston office on Tuesdays and Thursdays

Preferred Qualifications

  • Master's degree, MBA, CPA, CMA, or another relevant professional qualification
  • Experience in logistics, transportation, distribution, e-commerce, manufacturing, retail, or another high-volume operational environment
  • Experience creating financial models, reporting structures, or performance-management processes
  • Experience with SAP and Power BI
  • Knowledge of SQL, Python, automation tools, or advanced data analytics
  • Project-management or process-improvement experience
