What You'll Do

As a Quality Control Inspector, you will perform receiving, first article, in-process, and final inspections to ensure products meet all customer and company specifications.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Inspect precision medical device components using advanced measurement equipment
  • Perform first article, in-process, and final inspections
  • Operate and program inspection equipment as required
  • Record and analyze measurement data
  • Review blueprints, specifications, and quality documentation
  • Assist with troubleshooting out-of-spec conditions
  • Support process control and continuous improvement efforts
  • Ensure inspection records and certifications are completed accurately
  • Verify product conformity prior to shipment

What We're Looking For

Required Qualifications

  • Minimum 5 years of quality inspection experience
  • Experience operating a Coordinate Measuring Machine (CMM)
  • Experience operating a Keyence measurement system
  • Experience operating a Starrett HDV Comparator
  • Strong understanding of Geometric Dimensioning & Tolerancing (GD&T)
  • Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and blueprints
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
  • Excellent problem-solving and communication skills

Preferred Experience

  • Medical device manufacturing experience
  • Tight-tolerance inspection experience
  • Experience with statistical process control (SPC)
  • Familiarity with precision inspection tools, including micrometers, calipers, bore gauges, thread gauges, height stands, and surface plates

Physical Demands and Work Environment

While performing the duties of this job, continuous mental and visual attention is needed.  The ability to stand for a shift, sit, talk, and hear is frequently required.  Lifting to 40 pounds occasionally is required. Exposure to manufacturing areas where temperature may vary, and personal protective equipment is required.
