Job description

CTDI is a large-scale Engineering, Repair, and Logistics company that services the country's largest wireless telecommunications providers, as well as the largest High-speed Internet & Cable providers. Q.C. Inspector B is responsible for inspecting and testing products or materials to ensure they meet quality standards and specifications. This position plays a crucial role in maintaining product quality and ensuring customer satisfaction.
  • 1st Shift: 7:00AM - 3:30PM, Monday-Friday
  • 2nd shift: 4:00PM - 12:30AM, Monday-Friday
  • Weekend Shift: - 6:00AM-6:00PM, Friday-Sunday
  • Starting hourly pay: $18.06 per hour, plus a 10% shift differential for 2nd and weekend shifts.

Multiply Shifts Available
Responsibilities:
  • Conduct qualification tests, product inspection activities, quality audits on in-process and final products, and basic electrical tests.
  • Perform visual inspections, measurements, and tests using various tools and equipment.
  • Capable of recording or documenting inspection outcomes.
  • Maintains satisfactory quality performance levels.
  • Document and report any cited product deficiencies or deviations from quality standards.
  • Complies with all standards outlined in the Quality Assurance Manual.
  • Provide recommendations in support of maintaining continuous process improvements.
  • May assist in troubleshooting and resolving quality issues.
  • Maintains the work area and equipment in a clean and orderly condition.
  • Responsible for following warehouse safety regulations.
  • All other duties assigned, based on the business the warehouse supports.

Required Skills & Experience:
  • Comfortable working autonomously and in a team environment.
  • Thoroughness and attention to detail in task completion.
  • Proficient in maintaining accurate and organized records and effectively communicating information regarding any fails found during inspections.
  • Capacity to engage with individuals in a professional manner.
  • Handles basic issues and problems and refers more complex issues to higher-level staff.
  • Basic knowledge of computer programs for entering data.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Basic mathematical skills.

Preferred Skills & Experience:
  • Previous experience working in a high-volume distribution, manufacturing, technical service (i.e. testing and repair) or forward logistics operation a plus.
  • Previous experience in quality control or inspection roles.
  • Time-management skills.
  • Eagerness for continuous learning.
  • Written and verbal communication skills.

Educational Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred.

Physical Demands and Working Conditions
  • Warehouse environment.
  • The ability to lift, push and/or pull up to 50 lbs., if necessary.
  • The ability to stand and walk for an extended period of time, if necessary.
  • The ability to bend, push, pull, twist, and reach in a continuous/repetitive capacity, if necessary
