Job description

PABCO Tacoma is accepting applications from current employees for three (3) Quality Control Inspector positions, one per shift.

 

The Quality Control Inspector is responsible for identifying quality issues in finished products, performing product inspections, removing defective materials from the production line, monitoring equipment and production flow, and assisting with changeovers as needed. The position plays a key role in ensuring product quality and customer satisfaction.

Essential Duties
  • Perform quality inspections on finished products. 
  • Remove damaged or non-conforming product from the line. 
  • Monitor and clear production line jams.
  • Adjust equipment as needed. 
  • Complete all required QC Inspector changeover duties. 
  • Maintain a safe and clean work area. 
  • Follow all plant safety rules and procedures.
 Qualifications
  • Ability to identify product defects and maintain quality standards.
  • Basic computer skills.
  • Ability to perform required physical demands of the position.
  • Reliable attendance.
  • Must be able to distinguish colors accurately, as color identification is an essential function of this role.
  • Qualified candidates may be required to successfully complete a skills assessment and/or color vision screening as part of the selection process.
 Physical Requirements
  • Frequent standing, walking, bending, and repetitive hand movements. 
  • Frequent lifting up to 50 pounds and occasional lifting up to 75 pounds. 
  • Work in a manufacturing environment with noise, temperature variations, and moving equipment. 

This position will be paid $39.40 per hour.
