Quality Control Inspector
Location: Santa Fe Springs, CA
Job Type: Full-Time, Monday - Friday, 8:00 am - 4:30 pm

Compensation: Negotiable (based on experience) Pay rate ranges $25.00 - $35.00


Position Overview

Seeking an experienced Quality Control Inspector to ensure client requirements are met for aerospace machined parts (p. 1). The ideal candidate has an aerospace background and a thorough understanding of quality standards and administration documentation.


Key Responsibilities

  • Inspection: Perform visual and dimensional first-piece, in-process (at CNC machines), and final inspections.
  • Equipment Use: Properly operate gages (height, thread), metrology equipment, pins, micrometers, and Oasis video systems.
  • Documentation: Complete AS9102 and Final inspection reports; transition documentation to Rev. D.
  • Data Logging: Accurately record findings in digital or written formats and review planning schedules for accuracy.
  • Logistics: Sort, count, and package finalized parts for delivery.


Requirements & Qualifications

  • Experience: 3+ years in aerospace inspection with a background in management.
  • Compliance: Strong working knowledge of ISO9001 and AS9100 standards.
  • Technical Skills: Ability to read blueprints alongside working knowledge of DOS and Excel.
  • Soft Skills: Proactive problem solver with excellent communication skills for client and engineering interactions.
  • Eligibility: Must be authorized to work in the U.S.A.
