Quality Control Technician and Inspector Responsibilities: Conduct quality control inspections on incoming materials, in-process production, and finished products to ensure compliance with quality standards Use precision measuring instruments such as calipers, micrometers, and coordinate measuring machines to perform accurate measurements Analyze inspection data and test results to identify any deviations or non-conformities Collaborate with production teams to address quality issues and implement corrective actions Conduct quality audits to assess adherence to quality management systems and procedures Document inspection findings and maintain detailed records of quality control activities Experience : Previous experience in a quality control role, preferably in a manufacturing or production environment of at least 3 to 5 years; Familiarity with fabricating processes and materials Proficiency in using precision measuring instruments and conducting inspections Knowledge of quality assurance/quality control (QA/QC) principles and practices Ability to interpret technical drawings and specifications Skills : Use of hand tools required. Micrometer, Vernier, Optical Comparator and more Have knowledge of Inspection reports. Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing a plus. Strong attention to detail and ability to identify defects or deviations from quality standards Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills Good communication skills to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks effectively Neat handwriting -reliable transportation -ability to work overtime. Micro's quality plan is certified to meet the standards of ISO 9001:2015 and AS9100D and our equipment is rigorously maintained and traceable to NIST standards.
