Job Summary:
The Quality Control (QC) Inspector is responsible for performing inspections on in-process and completed fabrications, identifying quality issues, and ensuring all work meets engineering drawings and customer specifications. This role involves working closely with shop personnel to maintain quality standards and resolve fabrication concerns.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform visual weld inspections and dimensional checks on steel components

  • Inspect fit-up, welding, and final assembly stages of fabrication

  • Identify and document non-conforming materials and components

  • Provide feedback to fabrication teams regarding required corrections or improvements

  • Utilize company systems and tools to record and track inspection data

  • Assist in troubleshooting fabrication and quality-related issues

Requirements:

  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in quality control, welding, or metal fabrication

  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints, mechanical drawings, and weld symbols
