They handle the last stage of the delivery process, ensuring packages arrive safely and on time. These contractors often use their own vehicles and may work with companies in e-commerce, retail, or logistics. Their duties can include loading, unloading, delivering items, obtaining delivery confirmations, and sometimes providing assembly or installation services. Being a contractor offers flexibility, but it also means managing one's own expenses, taxes, and schedules.

Excellent time management, customer service, and problem-solving abilities help drivers stand out in this role. These skills ensure timely, accurate deliveries and positive customer experiences, which are critical for client satisfaction and repeat business.
