Job description

The Regional Manager, Final Mile Operations is responsible for leading the Final Mile Manager(s), Final Mile Partners and 3PL Relationships while overseeing the overall performance of the Final Mile Operation of their designated region. They will offer support and accountability to ensuring Arhaus Standard Operating Procedures are executed by each delivery provider both inside and outside the HUB. They will make certain required delivery deadlines are met while ensuring a consistent brand-right experience at the HUB(s). The Regional Manager will elevate the customer experience within their region while helping the organization see an increased customer satisfaction. Their partnership within the Arhaus organization is critical to their success. The role requires strategic focus, physical presence, and active participation to ensure the level of service provided in each of their Final Mile locations exceeds the customer's delivery needs.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities:
  • In partnership with the Final Mile Manager(s) and 3PL Provider Management, the Regional Manager will be expected to implement the vision and business processes established for all Final Mile Partners. They will oversee the performance of key metrics such as cost per stop, order cycle time, on time delivery percentages, return and exchange rates and most importantly customer satisfaction. They will drive continuous improvements on KPIs and analyze cost reducing innovations for the Final Mile Operations. By continually assessing the current service performance in these aspects of the business, they will take timely action to remove performance barriers. Strong partnerships are critical, both internally and externally, through regular and consistent communication, problem solving and relationship building. They will provide support, not limited, to Arhaus store management, inventory management and distribution management. The Regional Manager will implement processes and controls to ensure the final mile delivery service exceeds the expectations of our clients. They will be expected to address field issues, home damage claims, and manage performance while driving a low cost per stop. The financial acumen of each HUB is their responsibility, invoice review and research to ensure charges are aligned to contractual agreements are critical tasks. They are responsible for Final Mile Manager, 3PL Provider and drive team training in the fields and SOP compliance. It is their responsibility to ensure the Final Mile Managers and 3PL Provider has the tools, resources and leadership to be successful.

  • Previous experience in financial and scorecard reporting experience with the ability to analyze and educate on data

Requirements:
  • Education: College Degree, preferred.

  • Minimum 5+ years in Logistics/Home Delivery Operations

  • Successful track record of leading teams remotely within the Retail Industry/Furniture Logistics is strongly desired

  • Working knowledge of database applications such as Microsoft Office Suite of programs: Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, Word and Teams.

  • Ability and willingness to travel 50%
  • Remote, with preference for Northeast U.S. markets (Baltimore, Chicago, Boston, Detroit)
