We're looking for a creative, driven, and highly organized Video Editor to join our growing team at Block LLP. In this role, you will transform raw footage into compelling short-form videos that strengthen our brand and engage audiences across social media platforms.

This role is ideal for someone who understands digital storytelling, thrives in a fast-paced environment, and knows how to capture viewers' attention through strong hooks, clean editing, and engaging visual content.

What You'll Do
  • Edit and assemble short-form videos tailored for TikTok, Instagram Reels, YouTube Shorts, and other social media platforms.
  • Review raw footage and multiple takes to identify the strongest moments, hooks, and sound bites.
  • Transform raw footage into engaging, fast-paced content with clear and effective storytelling.
  • Incorporate captions, sound design, visual effects, transitions, and graphics consistent with our brand.
  • Adapt content to the style, format, and audience expectations of each platform.
  • Manage multiple projects and meet quick turnaround times without sacrificing creativity, quality, or attention to detail.
  • Collaborate with members of the creative and marketing teams to execute content ideas and maintain brand consistency.
  • Stay current on social media trends, editing techniques, and platform best practices.
  • Bring new ideas and creative recommendations to ongoing content projects.

Requirements

  • Proven experience editing short-form content for TikTok, Instagram Reels, YouTube Shorts, or similar platforms.
  • A strong portfolio demonstrating the ability to create engaging, fast-paced content with compelling hooks and clean storytelling.
  • Proficiency in CapCut, Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, DaVinci Resolve, or similar video-editing software.
  • Ability to work quickly and efficiently while managing multiple projects and competing deadlines.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills, including the ability to work effectively with a cross-functional creative team.
  • Bilingual in English and Spanish
  • Strong attention to detail and a commitment to producing polished, brand-consistent work.
