We are seeking an experienced Air Filter Service Tech Lead to oversee our Air Filter service operations. This position combines leadership, technical expertise, and fieldwork - supervising and training service technicians, managing key accounts, conducting high end air filter change-outs, and ensuring quality and safety standards are consistently met.
The ideal candidate has strong HVAC service experience, leadership skills, and a hands-on approach to problem-solving and
customer service.
Key Responsibilities
Leadership & Supervision
  • Supervise, train, and mentor service technicians on filter replacement
  • Conduct regular safety and performance meetings with service staff.
  • Coordinate with the Service Coordinator for route management and scheduling.
  • Coordinate Truck maintenance works to go in for service
  • Ensure company equipment (ladders, drills, safety gear, test instruments) is properly maintained.

Customer & Account Management
  • Conduct site surveys for new and existing customer facilities.
  • Communicate with customers and sales teams regarding changes, issues, or recommendations.
  • Make initial site contact and review work scope with customer representatives.
  • Provide timely service reports, deficiency notes, and feedback to management.

Field Service Work
  • Install, replace, and inspect HVAC filters in air handling systems.
  • Troubleshoot and diagnose filtration issues in the field.
  • Maintain detailed service documentation, reports and AHU filter surveys
  • Perform other duties as assigned such as warehouse assistance and filter deliveries

Quality, Safety & Logistics
  • Enforce OSHA, FDA, and company safety standards at all times.
  • Perform field quality control checks and risk mitigation reviews.
  • Coordinate with warehouse and inventory teams for materials and tools.
  • Maintain clean work areas and dispose of materials properly after service completion.
  • Travel is required as needed for out-of-town jobs, surveys, or training.

Requirements
  • HVAC technical Certification from accredited school
  • Experience with hand tools
  • Forklift driver experience is preferred
  • OSHA 10 or above required
  • 3+ years of experience in commercial HVAC
  • Surveying
  • Safety Training
  • High School diploma
  • Must have transportation to the branch
  • Must be able to climb ladders and work in heights
  • Able to lift 25+ pounds as needed
  • Experience working indoors and outdoors
  • Experience driving 16ft box trucks
  • Feel comfortable working with hand tools
  • Valid driver's license
  • Clean driving record
  • Must be able to pass a DOT Physical Examination
  • Basic math skill is needed to be able to figure percentages and to verify figures.
  • Must be able to communicate w/ customers and co workers
