We have an exciting opportunity for an Entry Level Electrical Engineer to work with our team supporting Electrical design and engineering in our Colorado Springs office. You will be exposed to and learn about receptacle, lighting, power, security, and telecommunications systems through the process of developing plan layouts, details, and one-line diagrams.  Your growth will be based on developing calculations, specification writing, cost estimating, coordination with other consultants and team members, and client interaction. This position involves working on several projects simultaneously in a fast-paced environment. 
You’ll work along with our Senior Engineers providing meaningful input on built environment projects, and we will mentor you each step of the way to ensure you are set up for success. You will be a valued member of our team from your first day and you will work on real projects right from the beginning. Under the guidance and mentorship of our experts and industry leaders, you’ll be equipped with the knowledge to deliver the most innovative and boldest solutions, which Bridgers & Paxton is known for.

Our clients include federal, state, and city agencies, colleges and universities, manufacturing and healthcare facilities.  We employ over 130 people, of which 55 are graduate engineers with 12 of those registered Engineer Interns and 37 registered Professional Engineers. We look for the following qualifications:
  • Four-year college degree from an accredited engineering program.
  • 0 to 5 years of industry experience.
  • Fundamentals of Engineering certification is a plus.
  • Communicates well verbally, in writing, and graphically, with other engineers, clients, and code authorities.
  • Strong personal ambition and work ethic.
  • Experience with AutoCAD, Revit, and other production related software is a plus.
