Production Associate I (Technician/Operator)
Location: Santa Rosa, CA
Pay: $21–$25/hour (DOE)

Day shift 5:30AM-2:00PM
Swing shift 2:00-10:30PM.

Overview
We are seeking a detail-oriented Production Associate I to support the manufacturing of high-performance thin-film optical filters. This role is ideal for a technician or operator with strong mechanical aptitude who enjoys working in a precision-driven environment. The position focuses on handling delicate glass and metal components, operating coating equipment, and performing quality inspections to ensure products meet exacting standards.

Key Responsibilities
Production Operations
  • Operate production coating machinery, including loading and unloading substrate sectors and chemicals
  • Monitor equipment performance and ensure proper process execution
Component Handling
  • Handle fragile glass and metal substrates with extreme care throughout the coating process
  • Maintain product integrity during all stages of production
Quality Inspection
  • Perform in-process inspections of coated lenses and optical filters
  • Verify product accuracy, cosmetic quality, and adherence to specifications
Troubleshooting & Setup
  • Assist with equipment setup under supervision
  • Perform basic troubleshooting and report issues to engineering or maintenance teams
Maintenance, Safety & 5S
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and efficient workspace following strict 5S standards
