Pay Rate: $18.50 per hour
Shift: Monday - Friday, 2:00 PM to 10:30 PM
Location: Williamsburg, VA 23185
Position Type: Temp to hire

What’s a typical day as Packaging Machine Operator? You’ll be:
  • Operating a sort machine efficiently in a fast-paced production environment
  • Establishing and maintaining positive relationships with customers and internal associates
  • Completing safety checklists, production logs, and quality logs accurately and on time
  • Working in accordance with quality systems compliant with CTPS and SQF standards
  • Lifting up to 55 lbs. consistently throughout your shift
  • Communicating effectively with peers and management
  • Maintaining clean and organized work areas using good housekeeping practices
  • Sorting a minimum of 10,000 tier sheets per 8-hour shift

This job might be an outstanding fit if you:
  • Have at least 2 years of previous warehouse experience in a fast-paced environment (must have)
  • Have at least 2 years of previous production-based work (must have)
  • Possess knowledge of transport packaging and production-based warehouse environments (preferred)
  • Understand food safety and 5S lean manufacturing principles (preferred)
  • Are able to operate sort machines and stay in sync with customer production levels
  • Can multi-task and perform well in a fast-paced setting
  • Communicate effectively with associates and customers
  • Are able to lift 55 lbs. consistently throughout the day
