Job description

**POSITION SUMMARY: **

High precision micro component company seeks a driven, team oriented individual as a machine operator to help support continued growth. Primary responsibility is to operate high precision EDM machines to produce small medical-related components. Successful candidate will demonstrate the company core values, People, Integrity, and Excellence, in all aspects of their assigned duties and responsibilities.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  1. Process product in EMD machines according to work instructions:

    1. Complete in-process documentation and inspections
  2. Perform regular cleaning on machine(s), fixtures and equipment

  3. Ensure calibration and proper use of all equipment and maintain integrity of product lines

  4. Notify machine service personnel and production manager of any machine problems or breakdowns

  5. Communicate job, equipment, and process status to other machine operators

  6. Communicate to production manager to complete projects in a safe and timely manner

  7. Ensure that all processes are performed in a quality manner, taking responsibility for maximizing machine utilization, minimizing quality issues and documentation

  8. Practice exceptional housekeeping

Employee will be required to perform other duties as requested, directed or assigned.
