Job description

Title: Optometrist for Busy Practice in Fairfield County (Multiple offices)

Job Description:

We are a continually growing and successful optometry practice with four locations in Fairfield County, CT, currently looking for a full-time optometrist to fill an open position beginning this summer. Our practice is committed to educating our patients and providing personalized eye care services. Limiting patient volume to two patients per hour gives you the rare luxury of providing deep, high-quality care without feeling rushed or falling behind on charting. We believe in a good life work balance with one day off during the week and one Saturday off a month. We offer a highly competitive salary, health care insurance, continuing education and other benefits including loan repayment support.

We are proud of our network of referring doctors, hospitals and specialist, and our connection and service to the community of Fairfield County. Our practice offers primary care, contact lenses and ocular diseases with an emphasis on pediatrics, vision therapy and rehabilitation. The practice is always eager to add new services and anyone interested in OrthoK and specially fits will be considered.

Applicants should be have a strong interest in pediatrics, behavioral optometry, vision therapy and neuro-rehabilitation and be willing to work in multiple locations with a diverse group of patients and conditions.

Requirements:

  • Doctor of Optometry
  • An Connecticut state license to practice optometry
  • Comfortable and flexible patient flow (averaging 2 patients per hour depending on complexity).
