Lasita is a Filipino rotisserie and natural wine bar in the heart of Los Angeles’ Chinatown. We celebrate Filipino food through thoughtful cooking, seasonal ingredients, and warm hospitality. We’re looking for a prep cook who takes pride in organization, consistency, and supporting the team every day.

Whether you’re early in your culinary career or looking to continue growing in a professional kitchen, we’d love to meet you.

Responsibilities
  • Prepare vegetables, proteins, sauces, stocks, and other mise en place according to recipe standards.
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and efficient prep station.
  • Receive and properly store deliveries.
  • Rotate product using FIFO practices.
  • Assist the line during service as needed.
  • Support opening and closing duties.
  • Follow all food safety and sanitation procedures.
  • Work collaboratively with the kitchen and front-of-house teams.
Qualifications
  • 1+ year of kitchen or prep experience preferred.
  • Strong knife skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
  • Positive attitude and willingness to learn.
  • Reliable, punctual, and team-oriented.
  • California Food Handler Card (or ability to obtain one).
