Job Description Senior IT Support Specialist Location: South Houston, TX Type: Full-Time Schedule: Monday - Friday, 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM (On-Site) Bonus: Discretionary Annual Bonus About the Opportunity A well-established industrial manufacturing company in the South Houston area is seeking a hands-on Senior IT Support Specialist to serve as the primary technology resource for the organization. This position is ideal for an experienced IT generalist who enjoys owning the entire IT function, solving problems independently, and working directly with end users in a manufacturing environment. With under 150 employees, this role offers the opportunity to have a direct impact on day-to-day operations while supporting all aspects of the company's technology infrastructure.
Individuals coming from smaller organizations or MSP environments often excel in this type of position due to their broad technical exposure and self-sufficient approach to troubleshooting. What You'll Do End User & Technical Support Provide advanced desktop and end-user support for hardware, software, and connectivity issues. Serve as the escalation point for all IT-related incidents and requests.
Diagnose and resolve complex technical problems through hands-on troubleshooting. Support users across office, operational, and manufacturing environments. Windows Environment Administration Deploy, configure, and maintain Windows 11 workstations.
Manage user profiles, operating system updates, application installations, and security settings. Troubleshoot performance issues, software conflicts, and workstation hardware failures. Microsoft Outlook & Productivity Tools Configure and support Microsoft Outlook clients and email profiles.

Ability to climb ladders when servicing wireless access points, networking equipment, or other mounted devices.
