Pay Rate: $30 Hr

Shift:

Swing  Tuesday through Saturday 2:00 PM - 10:45 PM

(Must have 2 + years of customer service, scheduling experience, access/badging experience and strong computer skills)

**Security Supervisory experience preferred**

*Must have a valid CA Guard Card*

Allied Universal Services is currently searching for a Security Scheduling Clerk. The Security Scheduling Clerk will be working in a corporate environment for Allied Universal Services. Our officers allow us to accomplish our company's core purpose which is "to serve, secure and care for the people and businesses in our communities". The Security Scheduling Clerk will plan and coordinate all aspects of internal schedules to provide the best service to the client. They coordinate with the Events team for all campus events, and with the Security Officer Request team for all posts that need to be staffed. The ideal candidate must have great interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to work in a fast paced and dynamic work environment and enjoy solving complex issues with optimism.

Essential Job Function:

  • Maintain records to establish accurate billing and processing information.
  • Coordinate work schedules and provide administrative support for all field operations and special projects.
  • Responsible for ensuring mileage reimbursements are accurate.
  • Work with a team of schedulers to staff over 500 employees.

 Minimum Qualification:

  • High school diploma or equivalent 
  • Must complete and maintain state Guard Certification as prescribed by presiding state law, as well as all client requested certifications; all documentation and fees are the responsibility of the employee unless otherwise noted
  • Passion for customer service and ownership of the customer experience
  • Quick learner who possesses effective time management: the ability to multitask, prioritize, demonstrate excellent organizational skills and attention to detail is a must
  • Effective oral and written communication is a must
  • Able to work in a fast-paced help desk environment
  • Aptitude for acquiring skills in technical troubleshooting and eagerness to learn and take on new challenges
  • Experience in troubleshooting badge and access management issues, and Knowledge of security device programing and functionality is a PLUS
  • Preferred experience in VidSys, Lenel, Excel, Filemaker, Intaglio, or equivalent technical skill
  • Knowledge of Mac computers preferred
  • Must be flexible on schedule, including availability for weekends and holidays
  • Builds productive internal and external working relationships
  • Exercises judgment within defined procedures and practices to determine appropriate action
  • Flexibility essential - the role requires both office and remote commitments, as well as being willing to occasionally adjust work hours due to work with regional colleagues.
  • Experience working with Microsoft Excel and Google Suite
  • Excellent Communication skills, both verbal and written
  • Previous experience with ticketing systems and/or project management system
  • Understanding of or previous experience in a technology driven environment
  • Proactive attitude and dependable
  • Excellent customer service skills
  • Ability to work both within a team and independently
  • Ability to multitask and prioritize workload
  • Ability to use good judgment, as well as problem-solving and decision making skills
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and professional decorum
