Role : File Transfer Integration Analyst/Engineer

Location: Remote

Duration: 6 Months

File Transfer Integration Analyst/Engineer to manage and support enterprise file transfer operations across multiple hospital entities and external business partners during a large-scale integration initiative. This role will coordinate, configure, monitor, and maintain secure file transfers using the enterprise SFTP/Managed File Transfer (MFT) platform, ensuring secure, reliable, and timely movement of critical healthcare and business data across internal and external systems.

Responsibilities

Configure, manage, and support secure file transfers within the enterprise SFTP/MFT platform.

Coordinate file transfer onboarding activities across multiple hospitals, business units, vendors, and third-party entities.

Manage hundreds of inbound and outbound file transfer configurations across various environments.

Work with application owners, infrastructure teams, vendors, and external partners to gather requirements and establish connectivity.

Support file transfers originating from multiple source locations including on-premises systems, cloud platforms, vendor-hosted systems, and enterprise applications.

Troubleshoot file transfer failures, connectivity issues, authentication problems, and data delivery delays.

Monitor daily file transfer operations to ensure successful and timely processing.

Maintain documentation for file transfer configurations, workflows, dependencies, and operational procedures.

Ensure compliance with organizational security standards, data protection requirements, and healthcare regulatory guidelines.

Participate in simultaneous integration and migration initiatives while managing competing priorities and timelines.

Collaborate with cybersecurity, networking, server, and application teams to support secure data exchange solutions.

Assist in process improvement initiatives and automation opportunities within the file transfer environment.

Qualifications:

Experience managing enterprise SFTP or Managed File Transfer (MFT) platforms.

Experience supporting large-scale integration or migration initiatives.

Knowledge of secure file transfer protocols including SFTP, FTPS, SCP, HTTPS, and SSH.

Understanding of file transfer workflows, scheduling, encryption, authentication, and automation.

Experience coordinating with internal teams and external vendors/partners.

Strong troubleshooting and analytical skills.

Ability to manage multiple concurrent projects and priorities in a fast-paced environment.

Excellent communication and documentation skills.

Healthcare industry experience preferred.

Collaborative team player with a strong sense of operational ownership.

Tools and Technologies:

Globalscape or similar enterprise MFT platforms.

Windows/Linux server environments.

Networking fundamentals including firewalls, ports, DNS, and connectivity troubleshooting.
