Systems Administrator
Position Overview
The Los Angeles Rams are seeking an experienced and motivated Systems Administrator to support, maintain, and enhance the organization's enterprise technology environment. This role is responsible for the administration and optimization of Microsoft 365, Microsoft Entra ID, server infrastructure, endpoint management, and core IT systems.
The ideal candidate is a technically skilled professional with a strong foundation in cloud technologies, systems administration, automation, and security. This individual will play an integral role in advancing the organization's cloud-first strategy while ensuring the reliability, scalability, and security of business-critical systems.
This position requires a proactive problem solver who thrives in a fast-paced environment and is committed to delivering exceptional service across the organization.
Please note: This is an onsite role based out of Woodland Hills, CA.
Key Responsibilities
Identity and Access Management
  • Administer and maintain Microsoft Entra ID and on-premises Active Directory environments.
  • Manage user authentication, group management, and access control.
  • Support identity governance initiatives and enforce security best practices.
Microsoft 365 Administration
  • Manage and optimize Microsoft 365 services, including Exchange Online, Teams, SharePoint Online, and related technologies.
  • Support the organization's cloud-first initiatives through ongoing platform enhancement and adoption.
Systems Infrastructure
  • Administer Windows Server environments and enterprise infrastructure systems.
  • Manage virtualization platforms, including VMware, Hyper-V, and cloud-hosted environments.
  • Maintain high availability, redundancy, and disaster recovery capabilities.
Endpoint Management
  • Administer Microsoft Intune and related endpoint management technologies.
  • Manage device lifecycle processes, compliance policies, application deployment, and endpoint security.
Storage, Backup, and Recovery
  • Maintain enterprise storage solutions and file services.
  • Manage backup and recovery platforms while regularly validating recovery procedures and business continuity readiness.
Monitoring and Operations
  • Monitor system performance, availability, and capacity.
  • Identify opportunities for optimization, automation, and operational efficiency.
  • Participate in incident response and problem management activities.
Documentation and Process Improvement
  • Develop and maintain accurate technical documentation, operational procedures, and system configurations.
  • Contribute to process standardization and continuous improvement initiatives.

Required Qualifications
  • 5+ years of Systems Administration experience in a Microsoft-centric enterprise environment.
  • Experience supporting hybrid cloud infrastructure and enterprise identity platforms.
  • Experience administering Microsoft 365 and Microsoft Entra ID environments.
  • Strong understanding of identity and access management technologies and protocols, including SAML, SCIM, and SSO.
  • Experience managing Windows Server environments.
  • Experience supporting virtualization technologies, including VMware and Hyper-V.
  • Experience administering Microsoft Intune and modern endpoint management solutions.
  • Proficiency with PowerShell and/or other scripting languages used for automation and systems management.
  • Strong knowledge of core networking services and protocols, including DNS, DHCP, SMB, and iSCSI.
  • Experience with infrastructure monitoring and management platforms.
Preferred Qualifications
Candidates possessing one or more of the following qualifications are strongly encouraged to apply:
  • Experience with Azure cloud services and infrastructure.
  • Familiarity with Linux or Red Hat Enterprise Linux administration.
  • Working knowledge of SQL databases and query development.
  • Experience with Databricks or modern data platforms.
  • Experience with Jira Service Management or similar ITSM platforms.
  • Experience developing automation, workflows, or AI-powered solutions.
  • Knowledge of cybersecurity frameworks and security best practices.
Salary Range: $105,000 - $115,000. Exact compensation may vary depending on multiple factors, including job-related knowledge, skills, and experience.
