Job description

cFocus Software seeks a UI/UX Designer to join our program supporting the Defense Intelligence Agency (DIA). This position is on site in the Washington DC, MD, & VA area. This position requires a TS/SCI + CI Polygraph clearance.
Qualifications:
  • Active TS/SCI + CI Polygraph clearance
  • Bachelor's degree in Design, Human-Computer Interaction, or related field with 4-12+ years of UI/UX design experience
  • Proficient in design tools (Figma, Adobe XD, Sketch)
  • Experience with user research methods and usability testing
  • Knowledge of responsive design and accessibility standards
  • Strong portfolio demonstrating design capabilities

Duties:
  • Designs user interfaces and user experiences for web and mobile applications.
  • Conducts user research, creates personas, and develops user journey maps.
  • Designs wireframes, mockups, and interactive prototypes.
  • Conducts usability testing and incorporates feedback into designs.
  • Develops design systems and style guides.
  • Collaborates with developers to ensure design implementation fidelity.
  • Ensures designs meet accessibility standards (Section 508, WCAG).
