Job description

RESPONSIBILITIES:
Kforce has a client that is seeking a Senior Product Manager in Saint Louis, MO.
Key Responsibilities:
Requirements Definition & Experience Design:
* Translate high-level business visions and roadmaps into concrete, executable product requirements, user stories, workflows, and experience designs
* Utilize Figma to map out requirements, Aha! for product management tracking, and Jira/Confluence for documentation and execution
Stakeholder Management & Collaboration:
* Lead workshops and discovery sessions with powerful, deeply experienced business stakeholders
* Manage scope; Push back tactfully yet firmly to prevent scope creep, ensuring the product stays on course according to the established roadmap
* Navigate a matrixed internal environment, bridging communication gaps between IT, sales-facing teams, digital product teams, and executive VPs
Execution, Scrum, & Release Management:
* Partner closely with engineering and IT teams to manage backlogs and drive monthly releases within an Appian code base environment (navigating its specific release limitations)
* Own business-level User Acceptance Testing (UAT); While you won't do hands-on technical code testing, you will ensure test cases are correct, coordinate with business teams, and manage release notes
* Maintain a quantitative approach to prioritization, adapting to our flexible, scrum-like product processes while maintaining consistent delivery standards
Team Integration & Mentorship (Stretch Goal):
* Operate with extreme independence; Take a feature set or release package and run with it end-to-end without needing frequent escalation to management
* Act as a mentor to junior product managers on the team, helping them mature within the PDLC process
REQUIREMENTS:
* 5+ years of experience and Proven track record as a dedicated Product Manager
* Deep hands-on experience with Jira, Confluence, Aha!, and Figma or translatable technology
* Exceptional communication, facilitation, and negotiation skills, with a proven ability to manage vocal, high-level business stakeholders and VPs
* Comfortable working with complex backend infrastructure, internal APIs, and internal reporting tools
* Strong familiarity with Scrum-like delivery models, UAT coordination, and release management
* Ability to jump into a fast-moving, complex project
Nice-to-Have:
* Experience leveraging AI tools (e.g., GitHub Copilot, LLMs for note organization, reporting, or prioritization workflows) to help drive early-stage AI adoption within the product team
* Familiarity with the Appian platform and its inherent deployment guardrails
* Logistics/Mobility Experience: Prior experience with ride-sharing, fleet reservation systems, or corporate transit solutions
