About Salesforce

Salesforce is the #1 AI CRM, where humans with agents drive customer success together. Here, ambition meets action. Tech meets trust. And innovation isn't a buzzword - it's a way of life. The world of work as we know it is changing and we're looking for Trailblazers who are passionate about bettering business and the world through AI, driving innovation, and keeping Salesforce's core values at the heart of it all.

Ready to level-up your career at the company leading workforce transformation in the agentic era? You're in the right place! Agentforce is the future of AI, and you are the future of Salesforce.

We're looking for a hybrid Design Engineer who shapes the visual direction of our blog and editorial content - then builds it into production-ready pages.

You'll evolve what Salesforce-brand storytelling looks like on the web: designing modern, editorial web experiences and bringing them to life using AI-assisted tools and lightweight front-end techniques. In doing so, you'll play a central role in transforming our blog into a more dynamic, high-value destination - and in changing how content is created and scaled across the team.

The ideal candidate has strong visual design skills and a builder's instinct. They're excited to use AI to accelerate their own workflow, experiment with new ways of working, and build self-service tools that empower content creators to do more.

Key Responsibilities

Design

  • Lead the visual direction for our blog and editorial content - establishing the look, feel, and editorial intent behind feature stories, series, guides, and playbooks

  • Create original illustrations and visual concepts that differentiate Salesforce editorial & web content and bring complex ideas to life

  • Design with purpose: typography, hierarchy, interactivity, pacing, and whitespace that builds credibility and keeps readers in long-form content

  • Read and interpret long-form editorial content to identify the visual narrative, key concepts, and moments that deserve visual emphasis

  • Art direct photography, illustration styles, and image treatments that set the tone for each piece and keep readers engaged through long-form content

  • Develop new content formats - scrollytelling, data visualization, interactive narratives - that push the blog toward a premium editorial destination

  • Leverage AI tools to generate and iterate on design concepts, create variations of layouts and components, and reduce manual work in repetitive tasks

  • Keep the editorial experience coherent with the broader Salesforce brand and web presence - newsroom, campaigns, product pages, etc.

  • Translate abstract or technical concepts (like the Agentic Enterprise) into clear, engaging visual narratives that earn trust with skeptical audiences

Build

  • Bring designs to life using AI-assisted tools and lightweight front-end techniques, reducing dependency on engineering for editorial pages

  • Rapidly prototype and A/B test ideas using design-to-code workflows (Figma Make, Builder.io, Claude Code)

  • Ship production-ready editorial pages directly from design, closing the gap between concept and live content

  • Pull in back-end engineering when scope exceeds the AI-assisted limits

Scale

  • Create and maintain a living design system of editorial templates and reusable components

  • Design self-service tools that let content teams build high-quality, on-brand designs without needing design support on every request

  • Serve as the visual steward of the blog and editorial experience, ensuring quality, consistency, and brand alignment across every piece of content regardless of who creates it

  • Explore AI-assisted approaches that auto-generate layouts and apply design patterns at scale

  • Contribute to evolving ways of working that make design-to-code builds faster and more iterative

  • Identify opportunities where AI can scale design output and speed without sacrificing quality - as well as opportunities where it misses the mark

  • Partner with content operations to simplify and embed design tools in the flow of work

Qualifications
  • 7 years of experience in digital, web, or product design, with a focus on content or editorial experiences

  • Strong portfolio demonstrating work with landing pages, editorial design, and content-rich experiences

  • Familiarity with or interest in:

    • AI-assisted design tools

    • Prototyping or interactive design workflows

    • Exploring design-to-code or lightweight front-end approaches

Formal front-end development experience is not required, but curiosity and willingness to experiment in this space is important.

  • Proficiency in tools such as:

    • Figma, Figma Make

    • Adobe Creative Suite

    • Builder.io

    • Claude Code

  • Ability to translate complex ideas into clear visual storytelling

  • Strong collaboration skills across content, marketing, and engineering teams
