Job Description

As a Web Front-End Developer, you will help build, maintain, and improve our website experience in close collaboration with design, marketing, e-commerce, and digital teams. This role requires strong front-end development skills, practical WordPress experience, and a proactive mindset to improve site performance, usability, accessibility, SEO, and overall structure. 

Responsibilities

  • Convert Figma designs and mock-ups into responsive HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
  • Build and maintain reusable website components for consistency and scalability.
  • Develop, update, and maintain WordPress pages, templates, custom fields, front-end components, plugins, CMS organization, and overall site structure, including page hierarchy, menus, taxonomies, and custom post types.
  • Develop practical, user-focused website tools and interactive features that support customer decision-making and improve the overall digital experience.
  • Responsible for monitoring and improving website page speed, Core Web Vitals, load time, responsiveness, and overall user experience.
  • Perform cross-browser and cross-device testing to ensure a consistent user experience.
  • Troubleshoot bugs, resolve QA feedback, and improve live website functionality.
  • Support usability testing and provide feedback on design implementation and technical feasibility.
  • Write clean, efficient, and maintainable code using web best practices and version control.
Qualifications
  • Degree in computer science, web development, software engineering, computer programming, or a related field.
  • Strong knowledge of HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, and responsive web development.
  • Experience converting Figma designs or mock-ups into production-ready web pages.
  • Experience working with WordPress websites, including themes, templates, plugins, CMS administration, site structure, page hierarchy, menus, taxonomies, custom post types, and basic PHP for WordPress template development.
  • Understanding of accessibility, technical SEO, Core Web Vitals, and website performance optimization.
  • Experience using tools such as PageSpeed Insights, Lighthouse, Search Console, or similar platforms.
  • Comfortable with cross-browser testing, debugging, QA, and Git or similar version control tools.
  • Strong attention to detail and excellent problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to collaborate with design, marketing, digital, and e-commerce teams.
  • Strong interest in web development trends and willingness to learn new technologies.
