Job description

Warehouse Shipment Specialist

Reports To: Materials Supervisor

Primary Duties:

  • Responsible for correct and timely shipment to customers
  • Entering data in SAP, and shipping spreadsheets
  • Properly recording RAW material location in "Block Location Sheet"
  • Keep record of issues and receipts and reconcile with production paperwork, and investigate and resolve differences
  • Responsible for load and unload of trucks in a safe and timely manner
  • Ensure FIFO when putting material away
  • Responsible for pulling and preparing loads for shipment
  • Rotating stock per FIFO and other customer requirements
  • Complete required paperwork and ASN's accurately and in a timely manner
  • Responsible for cycle counts on weekly bases, of materials
  • Investigating cycle count discrepancies
  • Responsible for shipments loaded properly according customer demand and pick list. Must be able to read packing slips and identify parts from the paperwork.
  • Responsible organization and cleanliness of the work area
  • Responsible for rack organization, rack supply, and removing paper from totes
  • Responsible for dunnage organization and shipping dunnage
  • Train and encourage others in order to achieve team goals
  • Support safety, health, and environmental rules and lead by example
  • All other duties as assigned

Qualifications Desired:

  • Safety and goal oriented
  • Prior work experience in shipping, store room, receiving and warehouse environment
  • Microsoft Office experience highly preferred
  • Self-motivated with excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Knowledgeable in SOPs and IATF requirements

Qualifications Required:

  • Current fork truck certification with NSG Group (will complete prior to operating)
  • Physical ability to sit, walk, stand, push, pull, carry, lift, squat, kneel and/or twist

Looking for:

- First Shift: Monday - Friday 6am-2:30pm. Starting rate: $21.45

- Second Shift: Monday - Friday 2:30pm-11:00pm. Starting rate: $22.45

Overtime as needed.
