  • Assist the 1st Cook with preparing fresh lunch and dinner meals, including scratchmade baked goods and desserts, using seasonal produce when available
  • Support menu planning, grocery ordering, and inventory management to meet resident numbers, preferences, and dietary needs
  • Help maintain high food safety and cleanliness standards through HACCP practices, FIFO rotation, and allergen control
  • Contribute to a positive, safe kitchen environment by supporting staff training, following safe work practices, and working collaboratively as part of the team

Requirements

  • Minimum three years of experience working as a Cook with strong organizational, communication, and problemsolving skills
  • Physically able to lift 50 lbs and maintain performance during 10-12 hour shifts
  • Food Safe Handling and WHMIS required; Culinary Diploma or Red Seal preferred; camp experience an asset

Salary Range (Per Day): $325-$350
