Job description

PABCO Roofing Products is seeking a Technical and Sales Support Specialist to serve as a trusted resource for customers, contractors, distributors, and the sales team. This role combines technical problem solving, relationship building, field support, and product expertise to help ensure customer satisfaction and successful product performance in the marketplace. 

  Key Responsibilities
  • Visit customer and contractor job sites to provide technical support and evaluate product performance concerns.
  • Assist customers, contractors, and distributors with technical product information and support.
  • Investigate and document product related concerns and provide recommendations for resolution.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with contractors, distributors, builders, and other key customers.
  • Conduct product training and provide literature, samples, and educational support. 
  • Support sales efforts through regular customer interactions and territory activities. 
  • Prepare reports and communicate findings to management. 
  • Collaborate with manufacturing and sales teams to share field observations and customer feedback.
  • Participate in industry events, trade shows, and professional associations. 
  Qualifications
  • Construction, roofing, building materials, or related industry experience strongly preferred. 
  • Experience working with contractors, builders, distributors, or construction professionals preferred.
  • Strong customer service and communication skills.
  • Ability to analyze situations, gather facts, and make sound recommendations. 
  • Comfortable speaking with customers, contractors, and internal teams.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office applications. 
  • Ability to travel throughout the assigned territory, with travel up to 60%.
  • Valid driver's license and acceptable driving record.

The ideal candidate has hands on construction or roofing experience, enjoys solving problems, and can confidently communicate with customers and contractors. A background as a roofer, roofing foreman, estimator, project manager, inspector, or construction professional would translate well to this role.
