• Directly engage with clients experiencing major mental illnesses and severe emotional disorders, providing therapeutic interventions and support both individually and in group settings.
• Collaborate with fellow team members to establish and achieve shared goals, contributing to a cohesive and effective care delivery model.
• Respectfully interact with clients and colleagues from diverse backgrounds and cultures, honoring individual traditions, beliefs, and interpersonal styles.
• Adhere to professional ethical guidelines while managing caseloads and ensuring a safe therapeutic environment.
• Conduct comprehensive assessments, prepare and implement integrated care plans, and facilitate referrals to relevant services.
• Monitor client progress through regular follow-ups and adjust treatment plans accordingly to optimize care outcomes.
• Provide crisis intervention and support during emergencies, ensuring patient safety and well-being.
• Document client interactions timely and accurately, fulfilling reporting requirements and contributing to overall program evaluations.

The LCSW will primarily serve individuals from underprivileged backgrounds who often face barriers to accessing mental health services. • Master's degree in Social Work (MSW) or a related field is mandatory.
• Active Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) licensure in the state of Virginia is required.
• Strong foundational knowledge of psycho-social assessment, diagnosis, and treatment methodologies pertinent to mental health.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills, facilitating effective interactions with clients and team members.
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple cases efficiently.

• Ability to demonstrate competency in working with various populations across the lifespan, incorporating age-related considerations into practice.

• A minimum of two years of clinical experience as a licensed social worker in a mental health setting is preferred.
• Bilingual proficiency in English and Spanish is highly advantageous, enhancing communication with a broader client base.
